Update on my current situation

(I paused billing, so current patrons shouldn't be charged for membership renewal from today until 28th of April)

Some unexpected stuff happened- won't go in details, it's nothing bad, dw about it- but I'll be "retiring" this account before April ends. There is still a couple of things I wanna finish/make before I leave and I'll try to fit as many as I can into the next couple of weeks. I'll run a big poll later today where you'll get to vote on which projects take priority, and I'll start from the most popular options.

Lux Anim Update

So, I finally have something to show. I made the mistake of just jumping into the animation without any idea of what I want to make nor any references to go off, which meant I would scrap almost the entire animation two times before finally arriving at something I'm happy with - a painful lesson, a couple of hours of storyboarding and gathering references would've saved me a week

Of course, there's still work to be done in making it look good via secondary motions+smoothing out some movements (and making it messy :3) but if you have a...

Valentine's Date

All alt versions can be found in the archive- I'm running late with the animation though, sorry :( Should be about 25 seconds long in the end, which was perhaps too big of a step up from my first one- but if I can maintain this pace, it should be finished by this weekend :)

Higher quality version. I also have the comically sized 400 mbs raw AVI file, which I haven't uploaded cause I didn't think anyone would want that and I didn't wanna bloat the archive. But if for any reason anyone wants that version as well, I'll upload it.

There's no audio- but I'm thinking of commissioning someone to take care of that🤔

There's things I still feel I could've improved here, but I think it's time to wrap it up and move on- done is better than perfect, and I wanna pick up what I learned here and start working on the valentine's special ;) I'll render it at a higher resolution overnight and upload it to mega tomorrow!

Learning animation+physics to round out the Ahri spree I've been on. I'll try to wrap it up by the end of this week! Not a big project, just a few secs long loop- but hopefully, a stepping stone towards bigger stuff in the future!
