I really enjoyed working on the last chapter (s02ch02). I could really make as much content in it as I felt it needed to deliver the whole story I wanted to tell. I hope the chapter didn't feel rushed in any way.

The upcoming chapter is really ambitious (not sure if I'm using the word correctly), guys. Perhaps even larger than chapter 2 of season 2? Hard to say for now...

C.E.S.T. to C.E.T.

Since today C.E.T. comes into use instead of C.E.S.T. at least in Germany, I've changed all release dates to 4 PM in C.E.T. This is basically the earlier option here of course.
So if you're in Germany, the update releases at 4 PM for you. If not and want to know when exactly the update releases, I'd recommend checking the current C.E.T. time on google to compare your clock with it. Cheers!

Just wanted to update you on how the development is going. Of course, the work is not nearly done, I have 1881 renders and 48 videos to turn into a chapter here. This is basically two times as many as chapter 1 of season 2, so the coding will take 2 times as much effort. To add to that, I have uni now and even though it doesn't take that much of my time, it'll probably impact how quick and efficient I can work. Anyways, I'm pretty confident at this point that the chapter will be released this month, I really can't see coding ...

Hey guys, we're almost at 1800 renders. I can say with confidence that the chapter is gonna be more than 1800 renders. Possibly closer to 1900 renders actually, only time will tell. I now have Uni again so I'm gonna be a bit slower at working, which I am sorry about. But I am still hoping to finish the update sometime this month. I'll update you on a release date once rendering is done!

I'm doing well myself. I have been working heavily on the game for the past two weeks or so. Much more heavily than I did for a while (10+ hours a day for 5 days in a row last week). So why?

Well for one, because I can. Since thanks to you guys I can do this fulltime now and since I don't have classes in uni right now. But most importantly because this update needs a shit ton of work. Like, a LOT.

I'm happy to say I'm okay now and making good progress (as I said on discord I was quite sick last week but I'm okay now). I have over 800 renders now (will most probably hit 850 today) but the renders are barely 50% done according to my progress algorithm XD
I don't think that's true tho, we're probably closer to 60% done with renders but let's wait and see. When I posted the last dev log, most of you guys (at least the ones that commented) seemed to be okay with the idea that this chapter might be a lot bigger than usual...

I'm doing quite well myself IRL-wise and developing-wise! I'm at 725 renders and 24 videos rn, which should be like 70% of the rendering for the average update, but for this one, these number barely crack 40% for the total rendering needed. This means one of two things:

1- I have incorrectly estimated how many renders I need for the next scenes (there are literally 12 scenes left, most of which are quite short but still...), and therefore, this update will be more or less normal sized.<...

I'm happy to say that I'm back to working on the game at full speed after being a bit busy with IRL stuff last week. I've finished laying out the structure of the chapter and boy was I wrong about my previous estimations...

I thought I was around 70% done with the writing for the chapter, but I've written quite a LOT in the last few days, and I'm kinda still at 70% lmao. The reason is my algorithm is very heavily based on what percentage I feel like I'm done.

Chapter 2 of Season 2 progress update.

Hey, fellas!
I'm happy to say that the release for chapter 1 went very well! It obviously initially had bugs, especially with loading season 1 saves , most of which have been fixed by now but let's not take it for granted, if anyone finds any more bugs in the latest release links (for red and blue belts) please tell me :)

It's probably gonna take a bit though, because I still need to figure out how to make the season 2 game detect and load saves from season 1 so that the players can keep their choices or try for a while and not figure it out and ultimately drop the idea and treat this as an update to the original game, which is not ideal cuz it's getting too big at this point... I don't think anyone will appreciate having to download 20+ GB to get the game a few chapters into season 2... Anyways, I'm just keeping you guys up to date on where I am development-...
