We're inching ever closer to that magical 10 GHz barrier on a mainstream processor. AMD has hit that 55% barrier, matching the competition, with the upcoming Ryzen 7000 CPUs with Zen 4 cores. Fingers crossed that's more than a 2-core frequency đ»đ»đ„
If you follow me on twitter, you might know this one. Intel published a patent with a bunch of CPU architecture images which were direct copies of AMD's Zen 1 CPU. How could they do that? Well, I figured it out... :)

Apologies for not uploading much of late. Had lots of ideas, but haven't been up to recording for a variety of reasons. I want to cycle back to all the AMD/Intel news of late, but I have had an opportunity to get a worldwide exclusive on ASUS' new TR Pro motherboard! It's just a hands-on video rather than benchmarks (the board was a loaner, it's been shipped back out already), but still exciting nonetheless. Patreons get exclusive viewing until tomorrow! :)

This is a long podcast-style video I recorded a few weeks ago, but wasn't really happy with it, as it needed something to come together. The recent HWUB/NVIDIA issue plays very nicely into the topic, so I added an intro into what is already a 40m+ video.
I still need to make a thumbnail, change the tags, and perhaps the title. Any commentary in advance of it going live would be much appreciated.
(Also I think my camera has started recording at a low resolution and I have no idea why...)

I'm enjoying doing these short news posts. Record, edit, upload within 30-45 minutes. Sometimes it takes longer for Youtube to approve them for monetization! But Patrons will always get the first crack while we wait.
