Having recently found a way to get the apps to communicate with each other has been a great milestone. It has allowed the below updates to be possible.
Fixed bug, now the following live event responses work for Track Days:
Is Fuel Low?
Is lap time invalidated?
Is car damaged?
Improved handling of cars that have Brake Bias that can be any .1 decimal value, not just 0.5. Now, values will be rounded up or down accordingly. For example, a Brake Bias setting of 57.8 will round up and play the audio sound "Your brake bias is set to 58." (This Improves support for VRC Formula ...
I have caught up with all of these now, which has resulted in a few updates to apps, as there were a few small bug fixes to be made. These bugs could have only been found with your help!
I will now try to start catching up with all your messages, as I have got a little bit behind.
Assetto Corsa has been missing out on Mechanical failures! Now, each driver (including you) has a chance of a mechanical failure occurring at a random point in the race.
Info:
How engine failures look is based on the car, for example, the VRC F1 2005 car produces large amounts of Fire & Smoke!
When an AI driver has a failure, they will pull over off to the left side of the track to get out of the way of all other drivers.
AI now manage their MGUK / ERS modes in race sessions!
Default Assetto Corsa AI drivers don't use MGUK / ERS modes in race sessions! They simply leave the mode in the default "balanced" mode, which is very unrealistic.
Features:
AI change MGUK / ERS modes depending on:
Battery Level
Lap Deployment Allowance
Yellow Flags present (Works great with the Yellow Flag / VSC App)
This app takes inspiration from a part of EA (Code-masters) F1 Game's HUD. Specifically, the car status information popup. It allows players to press a button to temporarily show and cycle through a couple windows of car related, status information.
The first page shows:
Tyre Temps
The second page shows:
Tyre Wear (Estimation, except for supported cars below which are very accurate.)
This app removes stuck and stopped on track AI by teleporting them to the pits. In race sessions they will stay there retired, but in qualifying and track day sessions they will be able to rejoin.
Info:
Assetto Corsa by default handles crashed, stuck and retired AI very poorly. Custom Shaders Patch helps this partially, however, this app solves the remaining issues.
This app allows you to have rolling starts with AI.
Info:
A number of people have mentioned to me how much they wish Assetto Corsa had rolling starts. Now you can! The AI will go slowly for the first lap and not overtake. Once the first driver starts the second lap, the race will begin! I have included a UI for the app to show the start lights.
I have made my own LCD screens for some cars. I've been disappointed by a number of cars either not having the info I need or not presenting info clearly. Having as much info clearly presented in the car rather than on UI apps is great for immersion!
Car Screens Included:
Ferrari F2004, SF15t and SF70h by Kunos (Default Assetto Corsa)
Assetto Corsa has no race engineer, which results in needing multiple visual apps to keep you informed of what is going on in: races, qualifying, Track Day & practice sessions. This app provides a race engineer to keep you informed of session events, your car's status and as a way to receive vocal informative responses to any queries you have! This results in significantly more immersive and enjoyable experience.
This app provides drivers with a race engineer who will provide:
Assetto Corsa has missed out on races with AI tyre strategies for far too long! This app allows you to define AI tyre pit strategies which really highlights the excitement of: undercuts, overcuts & pitting in general.
You can customize the following:
AI's starting tyre compound.
Which laps the AI pit on (with an option to allow for their own deviation.)
Improved accelerate from grid positions. Fixes Indy-Car & Karts from not starting the rolling lap correctly, bug.
Mechanical Failures v3.3, FIA Flags v2.4, Clear Stopped AI v3.3:
These three apps have had the speed which they recognised stopped cars reduced. This improves multiple scenarios. It is strongly recommended to update all three to the newest versions.2025-06-08 15:25:36 +0000 UTCView Post
AI will now put on new wet tyres when they pit with wets tyres on: for both emergency damage stops & planned strategy stops. This gives better support for wet races.
(App now supports partial wet weather support. The app can be used with wet races for when a race is always consistently wet.)
Returning to using manual Pit Boxes, as AI did not consistently leave the built-in pit boxes once they had changed tyres & fixed damage. This results in many of them staying too long, ruining realism.
Tyre visual changes at appropriate time.
AI will pit when they need to fix suspension damage & can now fix all damage when needed with appropriate additional time added to pit stop.
