After some issues with my PC, I'm finally able to release the test version for you all. One problem I'm still encountering is with the CAS and the Smooth Patch from Lazy Duchess, but I'll be working on fixing it over the coming months. For now, I recommend that if you're playing using the CAS, do so without the Smooth Patch files! Basically, visual effects in The Sims 3 encompass everything you see that isn't an object, Sim, or lot.
You know that balloon flying around the city? The jet that leaves a trail behind? Insects flying and adding to the local diversity...
