Unfortunately, I have to let you know that I’m taking a forced break from creating videos for an indefinite period of time.

The issue is that, starting from last month, the region where I live has been experiencing constant power outages. I won’t go into details, but I can say that over the past three-plus years this has been happening from time to time. Not often, but due to certain circumstances, it keeps repeating.

Sorry for the delay — I rushed a bit and missed a major mistake during the final render, so more than a day of work was lost and I had to re-render everything from scratch. On top of that, I got carried away and made the video way longer than usual, which ended up turning the render and post-processing into almost five days of work.

This project became a bit of a technical breakthrough for me, since I finally found a way to animate everything the way I used to—at 15fps—but render it at 30fps or even higher. As always, it didn’t come without its issues and challenges, but now I can avoid the awful frame jitter (like with the eyes and mouth in the last video).

In my last post, I mentioned that I was planning to make a loop video, but it didn’t really work out. I made a couple of drafts and eventually realized I’d rather make a full version instead.
So for now (unless something changes), I’m planning to work on that video.

Should I make SFX for my videos?

To be honest, anything related to audio isn’t really my thing, and I’m not very eager to do it. I also think the SFX in my previous videos turned out pretty poorly. I’m not sure it’s even worth spending time on this kind of stuff — especially since it takes me quite a while. (Though I guess that’s mostly due to inexperience.)

That said, I’d still like to hear your opinion on this, and based on that, decide what I should do next.
