Battlefield Myths Vol. 10 + Update

Apologies for the lack of updates for a while, I've been ill for the last month with a nasty virus and have spent a lot of time taking medicine and playing Horizon and Zelda.

Battlefield Myths Vol. 10 has been recorded and should hopefully be out tomorrow!

You can shoot explosives out the air

Only the scout class can pick up an enemy trip-wire

Titanfall 2 Myths Vol.3!

It took us 2 months to come back to this series so we thought it was only fair if we made it a mega-episode, I believe this is the longest Myth video we have ever made, clocking in at around 6 and a half minutes. Should be out tomorrow

Myth list:

You can assassinate a Northstar in the air

You can survive a nuclear ejection using a pilot shield

Reverse Gaming?

So while editing Battlefield Vol. 9, I randomly thought the train sequence would look cool in reverse, spoiler, it does! It has no audio because Jamison didn't setup his recording software to not record Discord voices so he just removed it instead. All the audio for that sequence in BF1 Vol.9 is faked and edited in, bit of movie magic for you there.

Battlefield Myths Vol.9 and Battle Royale!

So two big edits are in motion! We just finished recording Battlefield Myths Vol.9 and we actually recorded a ton! So much so that I am not 100% sure it will all make it in, here is the list of what we captured:

Playlist Update, New Band!

Whenever I find a new band and update the playlist I'll mention it on here for you $5 patreons encase you want to look into the band yourself.

DTH Spotify Playlist!

Next Big Project!

The next big project we have planned is currently titled 'Overwatch Battle Royale'. The idea isn't specific to Overwatch but we are starting in OW due to it's amazing recording-friendly features.

The main idea is to pitch in-game AI controlled characters against each other to see which is the best. We first tried this in Titanfall 2 since there are 6 different Titans and upon exiting a Titan, it will fight on its own. Unfortunatly it was too difficult to record cleanly, since if you got close to them, they would murder you.

Battlefield Myths Vol.7 Plans

The only confirmed Myth we have so far is 'A ricocheted AT rocket can hit a plane'. This so far, out of any myth in the series, has been the most difficult to pull off. We managed to make it happen once and I wasn't even at the PC, I was eating and my friends Jamison and Andy made it happen while I stood still as a camera man. We need to pull it off again since the footage looks kindof bizzarre, as I stand there doing nothing as this exploding plane drifts out of sight. Myth Spreedsheet

My very unorganised way of keeping track of ideas. Green = Confirmed. Orange = planned 'showstoppers'. I like for every episode to have a big visually exciting myth for the ending. These are usually more stunt like than informative but I think they're vital to bring a fun video together.

I should really remove Gears of War and Mafia, they're probably not going to happen but you never know.
