Tough week here in LA as we dealt with temperatures of 106 and 107 the last few days. I know my Arizona and Texas patrons are shaking their heads at my frailty but the heat from two rendering machines going full blast adds a few degrees!
Post-worked still render count is about 1,650. Still a long ways to go before the episode is finished.

Death valley has the hottest temperature 56.7 Β°C (134.1 Β°F), ever recorded on 10 July 1913 both on the ground and in the air. If you cannot believe a temperature measured in 2013 there is also the fact that on July 9, 2021 the temperature was again measured at 130Β° degrees Fahrenheit (54.4Β°C) in Death Valley. The hottest temp on earth for the second year in a row!

2024-09-08 15:21:05 +0000 UTCThat is 41Β°C to 41.6Β°C for the rest of the world π. I will not complain about my 93Β° (33.8Β°C). This is also the hottest summer ever in Death Valley. 48.9Β°C nearly every day and nine straight days over 51.6Β°C.
