here's a summary of the art i've done recently.
lots of little stuff. but all thing that i'm happy to have made. you can see some of the remaining patreon sketches that i went ahead and did on stream seeing as that seems to be taking off for now. i'm still real stoked to have so many people come watch me draw and just hang out together.
the rest of the gremlin and triangle art in here are gifts to some sweet friends of mine that i appreciate a whole bunch. i'm glad i got to do these for them.

so yeah. on the changes, mostly only applicable to ink curators (13.99) and above, in regards to the frequency of the work i'll put out for it. essentially i'm going to do it every other month.
so six pieces a year, but they'll be of the quality featured above in this post. hopefully that's okay with everyone. if anyone has any concerns please let me know.

a lil rushed thing for a good friend of mine who needed some art for their stream. i had a good time with this one, something simple, but still interesting to work out.
helping people kinda design characters is always a good feeling when you hear them tell you how much they like it. bringing ideas and characters to life is one of the big reasons that art doesn't lose its luster as easily compared to some other hobbies.

it's him! another one of my characters from my (to-be-made-in-the-future) comic, brooks! so i decided to do something fun for these since i'll be drawing my characters a bit more than i'd usually get to thanks to the monthly polls.
i wanted to write down some lore-related notes or maybe even bios about who the illustration is featuring, and perhaps even tease more of the narrative that way- who knows! gonna be feeling it out and see how it goes down.

oh boy, this was definitely something. i'm actually pretty happy with how this came out. when i first started working on this piece, i was having a pretty rough time and all the art i was doing was just- slow, and i kinda hated all the stuff i made.
however! depresso-espresso aside, finishing this made me real happy cause i put lotsa extra elbow grease into this. perhaps not in the same sense as some of the older work i put out and was proud of, but this is still pretty good for what it's worth.

a supposedly black & white sketch reward turned light watercolour piece. this reward is available to all Ink Curator tier patrons and higher, completely free (as soon as you hit one month of being a patron in the appropriate tiers).
though they'll probably actually be black & white most likely and kept as a sketch. we'll see how it all plays out really.

my painting skill isn't quite where i want it to be, so this definitely took a toll on me, however while i'm not the most content with how it came out, i think it's still worthwhile to practice it for future paints (spoiler: that'll be pretty soon)
