Unrelated to the tap dance or stretching my feet out after, but there IS a word for having the word on the tip of your tongue, but it's derived from Greek. (Official definition is: inability to remember a word or name.) Of course, I don't know German, so they may have a delightful word of their own for it, but "lethologica" is the one I found, and i don't think it's one I've come across and halfway picked up the meaning from context!
