Remembering my first impulse

For a while, I only drew lain's face.

After the work was completed, I rarely drew Reine's face unless she asked me to.

Since the completion of the work, I only draw Reine's face when she asks me to. Sometimes I draw her face with a signature or something, but that is just like a symbol.

Re-examining the balance between watercolor pencil and lain's face

Today my child sprained her foot and we went to the hospital together.

When they took an x-ray, there was a clear crack-like line on the bone of the foot, and they decided to take a CT scan in the big department of the hospital.

Almost every day, I call it morning practice, and I draw a light croquis and record it, but it's hard because the videos have accumulated.

I painted Lain with acrylic paint on glass.

I am experimenting with acrylic paint because it seems to be able to paint on a variety of materials.

This is a thick glass plate used for processing leather products. I do not know the details, but it seems to be processed by rubbing the surface of the leather with the side of the plate.

I painted gesso on the glass plate and drew a line on it.

I am getting better at croquis while speaking. This has allowed me to update my videos daily.

However, if I make two videos a day, I have accumulated so much stock that I can no longer keep track of which videos I have posted. It is a happy cry.

And although my days are busy, with no weekends or holidays, they are somehow fulfilling. There is a lot of pressure when I draw for work, where I cannot make mistakes, but I really enjoy croquis and drawing on colored paper, where I can draw what I like.

How about painting a work picture for a day and then painting a hobby picture for a change? ......

Practice is fun!

Practice in the morning! but it ends up being lunchtime, and I draw a simple croquis every day.

It is important to go back to the basics. If you continue to draw in your own style, distortions will accumulate before you know it.

I painted lain with acrylic paint on an aluminum plate.

When I started using paints, I wanted to have fun and paint on different objects, so I bought an aluminum plate and a sheet of glass.

I painted a light coat of gesso, let it dry for a day, and then painted lain on the aluminum plate.

It is much easier to paint on ...... paper or canvas. Also, if something hard hit it, it would come off.

Maybe the gesso was too thin.

Doodling to get an idea of character design

Lately, I do a lot of doodles like this in my notebook to get an idea of the character.

This is the main character of the story I have in mind.

I had a vague image of the character in my mind, but when I drew it, I realized that it was not at all what I had in mind, or rather, the image in my mind was so vague that I had no image of the character at all.

Head Drawing Practice

I have been practicing drawing in my spare time, it took me a long time at first, but I think I will be able to do it much faster if I do a lot of drawings.
