Christmas Crossover!

As a little something extra for the holiday season, I decided to create a couple of Crossover Wallpapers, featuring both the protagonists of Haven's Port and Left Hand Magic. Since it's a pure holiday extra, I'm making it available to all patrons...though the Royalty Tier folks should note that I also just released your regular batch of monthly wallpapers as well. 

Anyway! Since I don't do this for everyone else often...I attach the most common sets of resolutions in zip files to these posts, along with a 4K no-text version. Enjoy...

December Wallpapers

These took a day longer than I'd planned, as I had to redo one of the Holiday Wallpapers (to be posted in a few minutes) last minute. Anyway, nothing really special to see here...aside from the fact that this character hasn't been properly introduced yet ;-). Consider this a little bit of a sneak peek, as she'll be introduced in this month's release! 

As usual, there are various common resolutions for these wallpapers attached as zip files. 

Progress Report

Alright, the last couple of days have been a bit nuts, hence the delay in getting a progress report up. Thankfully, I do have at least some good news this time.

Old Rewards Archive Updated

With the release of Mass Effect:The Final Error(Part 8) for $3+ Patrons, a previous story goes into the Old Rewards Archive. In this case, the story was Long Haul: An Unexpected Twist. Which I think was one of my more interesting recent shorts. If you haven't had a chance to read it yet, go check it out!

November's Second Short

Alright, I know this is rather late, even for a the second short of the month which often overruns a bit. I apologize for that...though there's some good news too! Part of the reason it overran a bit longer than it usually would is because, like I always try to do with Mass Effect:Final Error, it's a bit longer than the typical short. In this case, it's just barely shy of 7,000 words. Like, 50 words short. So it's a pretty decent chunk of story...and I think the sex scenes are a cut above some of my others as well. That might just be me, tho...

December Comic Poll

Alright, as I mentioned in my Sitrep post yesterday, I'm limiting the options a bit for this poll this month. The older comics, which were actual comics (sort of) rather than mixed media shorts, are a lot more time intensive than the mixed media shorts. As such, I've removed them from the options this month. Haven's Port - Build 11

Okay! With the release of Haven's Port Build 12 for $5+ Patrons early yesterday morning, it's also time to release the previous build to the public. Haven's Port - Build 12 - $5 Patron Release

Drat! Didn't quite make it before midnight. Got pretty close though. Honestly, I kinda actually expected this result.  My apologies for the slight overrun, but it's done now. Uploading as I type this, though that still means it will be a little bit. Either way, all things considered, I'm fairly pleased with this build. While it's one scene short of my original goal (an extra date for Sylvia is missing), I came verrrryyy close to squeezing everything in. And it's a pretty nice little mix of content types, too. Just a Quick Note

So far, everything has gone fairly smoothly. Writing/Coding is 100% done for all 17 scenes, and I've edited the first batch of 4. I'm going to do 4 more before crashing for the day. That will leave me with 9 scenes to edit, plus the test/debug pass. Best case, there aren't many problems and I can release late tonight. Worst case (short of major disaster, like an airplane slamming into my house or other abrupt death) should be that I'm a few hours past the deadline and release in the earlyish AM tomorrow.

The Side Gig - What’s in a Happy Ending?

Whew! With this, The Side Gig becomes the first of my comic/mixed media shorts to wrap up! This entry in the series is written a bit differently, being a case of the protagonist narrating how her life has turned out a couple of years after the last entry. I think it actually worked out remarkably well, still having some titillation to it, despite the sort of Epilogueish nature. I certainly hope people agree!

Ugh, haven't made as much progress the last few days as I'd hoped -_-. Part of this was because my main monitor is being a little jerk. I spent almost three hours yesterday shopping for a replacement among the black Friday sales. Which probably seems excessive. It's not so much so, though, as it's actually kinda complicated to find a monitor that outputs color-correct and at 4k resolution without paying through the nose. And the color correct thing is super important so that you all don't end up with wonky looking color in the game renders. ...

With the release of A Different Use for Magic for $3+ patrons, a previously exclusive story moves into the Old Rewards Archive. Short Story: A Different Use for Magic

Yay! A relatively not last-minute short story! I admit, the title isn't very creative...but I think I certainly did justice to the story itself. This one is pure one-shot, with the character never to be revisited. Though the setting might be? It's possible, certainly. Anyway, the whole thing came in at a nice length of roughly 5200 words, and other than that I won't say much about it. Spoiling the 'different' use for magic wouldn't be nearly as fun as you reading it yourselves!

Haven's Port:

I had a bit of a delay here which cost me a day. The renders for the scene featured in the image attached (Sylvia's third date)...most of them decided they hated my guts. Two of the renders actually Blue Screened my rendering rig 4 times between them -_-. And I still don't know why. The rendering rig is quite stable, almost never having blue screened in the year or so since I built it, so the reasons for it to do so this time, for this particular set of scenes...

Octobers Rather Late Second Short

Hello everyone! I want to double apologize for this short. First, for it being so late. Second, for it being one of the shortest shorts I've ever publish for you. November - Haven's Port Focus Poll

Okay! Focus Poll time! I've mulled over things a bit more since the sitrep poll. As I mentioned there, I think some expansion needs to be done on the various 'alternate state' content. However, I don't want to spread things too thin. As such, 8-10 of this month's scenes will be focused on Chastity and Free Use content. In the case of the Free Use content, it will be spreading that content to the Main Island.
