How to clear resin

Hey dudes I know this is gonna pop up in a couple weeks when I do this so I thought I’d show you guys how I make clear resin clearer. For curing times I do 15seconds just to get the outer layer but most important is a solid soak in alcohol it has to be extra extra clean. Probably still gonna get cancer from it though 🤷🏻‍♂️ but it’s nice and clear and not yellow

Day one vlog.

Yes. It is late af haha. I only just managed to get this vlog done tonight. It’s not the craziest one. I have so much to show you it’s not even possible to do this in one or two so I’ll make another video tomorrow focused around more of the stuff at the expo. I was just super busy with delegating people for interviews today so I kept this first vlog a bit looser and less about formnext and more about my day in a nutshell

Super early access

Hey dudes. As I had to get this video done before I left for Frankfurt I guess I am able to give you guys a super duper early access to see it. Obviously this is waaay earlier than expected so give mcm a few days to catch up to the agreed upon date before they sort the files, they may not be available in your sign up package yet but they have said they will be available for the rest of November and December.

Harley colour palette

Hey my dudes. Well, it’s been a long day. Tomorrow I get in a plane to go to Germany (to the formnext expo in Frankfurt) . Personally, between you and me I don’t wanna go. I dont wanna leave my safe space. This is way out my comfort zone. But, I’m doing it so this means I had to be on top of my videos this week. I’ll share the video tomorrow a few days early for those in the didnt f$&k off tier and hopefully find the inner strength to go outside my studio and discover the world.

As usual like clockwork I am here with your palette picture. Fairly simple one this week. Just loads of tinting mostly and hinting at colours rather than fully saturating them.

Sooo I’m just about done with this bat thing from Tanuki figures. I am prepping my next model and also I was supposed to film the new bat information thingy but I was waiting for a camera that I got and it turns out I’m an idiot and ordered the one that’s on preorder. I swear I thought it was available and in stock. Anyway hopefully I’ll have an upgrade on camera quality soon, that’s the plan anyway. I guess I’ll just record the Uniformation video the old way. Haha hope you like my bat but not bat model.

Hey dudes. I am in a slight panic mode as next week Monday I fly to Germany for the 3d printer expo. And I got to have two models complete by the end of the week if I wanna maintain my weekly upload so it’s currently a mild panic not too serious, but of course, I decided this morning that there should be leds like the render and not painted light.

So I made that happen as per usual always getting distracted from the task at hand. But plan is to complete him tommorow and then start the Harley that’s gonna go out while I’m at form...

Gap filling for stones and key fix for loose keys

Hey dudes. I’m so sorry it took so long to get this short video out. I really tried but I got distracted at every turn. But I’m the end I finally managed yesterday to sit down and add some voice over for this clip. This isn’t a super new concept I’ve shown it before but for those that didn’t know it’s a nice refresher. I’m so sorry I forgot to add the pen in the palette so here is the pic for those who wanted to know. It’s a live hate relationship with pens like these. Sometime they like to work sometimes the gunk up. I feel like they work better over gloss clear and you can matte it after this sealing the pen in the paint I guess. Again sorry I forgot to add it

My current situation

I am frantically trying to complete the edit for tomorrow as well as upload the files to cults and gumroad. And prepare the thumbnails etc because tomorrow is also our open day and tattoo flash day at the studio. Me and our junior artist will be smashing tattoos and selling the plastic crack all day. We have prizes like printers to win etc so if you are in the area you should definitely come past and get a raffle ticket or a photo of yoirslef with a miniature pony (yes I’m getting friggen pony’s to come for a little bit)

Yo dudes. I am actually like so busy atm. And also I realise you probably think I’m just crazy saying that but I decided to have a tattoo flash day at the shop on Thursday so we been preparing for that as well as preparing this models files and then on top of that deciding to take up a new hobby(the metal stuff).

I have been neglecting emails and missing comments. It’s been too busy to even even think for a second. Anyway. I’m doing my best to keep up for now.

Hey dudes I feel like time gets less and less everyday. I seriously can’t find the time to do anything anymore. I am sitting on a prep video for you guys but haven’t had a second to do the voice over yet. Urgh. It’s ok don’t panic. Ok maybe a mild panic is acceptable in this situation. Also this week we have our flash day at the tattoo shop it’s on Thursday so I been preparing for that too. Holy moly.

Hey dudes. Here some wips from today. I got so distracted by basically everything so not much progress unfortunately. But I also did have to spend like 6 hours prepping for paint so most of my time was spent there.

New render update.

I know it’s only been a matter of minutes but I got boys working all over the show in this project. I made the first rough sculpt. Tareq Saber then sculpted spidey and I sculpted the whole base and all the details. I did some minor sculpting I. Spidey to tweak stuff. Hicontrast did the digital painting and genesis from c27 has now just done the renders of that painting. Here’s the results. I’m so amped with how this came out.
