A new, pretty complex, mechanic was added in an (apparently) no-bugs environment!
All that's left is balance, but that's no easy task. Hmhm!
Skills and some weapons now have Elemental modifiers applied to them, which will make them more or less viable against certain kinds of enemies!

This is trickier to use, but can be NASTY to deal with!
Strip X: Remove X Equipment cards from a target Character. Basically, if your Character has Nick's Birdcage equipped, your opponent will think twice before defeating it (before removing this card) as his active Character could lose much of its power if it's card-dependant!

Tested out splitting the enemies into broad categories and came up with a system that applies Weapon Resistance to them, such as:

One of the most jarring aspects of P&C *used to be* the Save/Load menu chugging slowly while being opened, closed, or navigated. That's no more! Make sure you overwrite your old save files, and the issue will be solved!
And that's not everything! You will find here new events, reworked HUD elements, a lot of fixes, new items, and more!

Wealth ๐ +1 and Draw 1 means you can play a new card for free after equipping this (since every turn you can play 1 card freely, then you have to discard 1 to play the next ones)!

Another GREAT card, with GREAT art, and I think it's very viable if played right!
With enough luck you could have this in your starting hand + a couple of good Equipment cards like Clockwork Core and Princess Crown, jumping from a measly ๐0๐0๐ช4๐0 to a meaty ๐2๐0๐ช7๐2! Just like that, on turn 1!

"Requirements" finally shown!
Gemstone Plug meaty stat increase comes with a condition! See the lock near the name place? The wearer has to have at least 2 Lust ๐!
Also, whenever the requirement isn't met anymore, the Character immediately loses its equipment! That's one of the best way to use cards with Impair: to lower the enemy's stats and trigger an Equipment or Upgrade loss!

These Princess cards will be something I'd want to collect and keep somewhere safe FOR LIFE. Look at her! Needless to say, this first Dusk Princess card portrays her during the Intro, when you meet her at night at the Campsite!
Talking about the "Unique" trait (only 1 copy of a Unique card can go in your Deck), as a general rule, future Dusk Princess cards won't count towards the Unique counter if their name is even slightly different!

Veggies will be partying during Full Moon days after you do your part with the Princess! But that is as important as the Battle HUD rework, I love it with every fiber and I want to see more cute/cool faces being pressed to each other, like they're all sharing the same Pokeball, waiting to be sent in battle!
Finished working on all 5 Plant events needed for her pre-recruitment questline! We'll release the new and final event in today's Beta, if I finish testing it in time!
This means that only the extra stuff is needed to have Plant Princess officially added to P&C, but you'll now be able to play her first events to completion! I'll likely begin working on the Shadow Reign while the writer is busy writing about Plant NPCs, SUCC forms, Campsite interactions, Tea Party reactions...

Art inspired by other TCG sweet sweet axes, our Crimson Axe has Life Steal just like her vidya counterpart! The Lifesteal skill can help mitigating the effectiveness of the enemy's attacks, possibly ignoring them for a couple of turns until you build your powerhouse Princess ๐ค

Took a crack at it, and ho ho! I love it!
The Battle HUD, specifically the part that shows available party members you can switch into, has been completely reworked! It's 100% bug-safe and will from now on also show the Progeny portraits, which until now were only shown as "?" most of the time!

A couple of new small events, but we may go ahead and add more fluff to the dragon routes.
I feel like the scaley characters could use a little more depth, and seeing them in new settings may do the trick ๐ Since they're not able to go adventuring with the Knight, like the rest of the main cast does, more events in the "Date" format could be fun.

Drusy Crown, unlike most of the cards of the starting set, is not as much related to the game's beginning, but I needed a couple mechanics that'd "Impair" strong opponents you may need to overcome!
Impair X: place X -1 Counters on any number of stats!
Impair X on itself means you will lower 1 Stat by 1 when attaching this equipment to your Character!
Combined with other cards we'll present soon (like the Action card "Provoke") it may help dealing with strong Characters even when using a weake...

She's going to be one of the Unique card characters, meaning you can only have one with the same name in your deck!
Of course, if another "Dusk Princess" card gets released in future, and its the name differs from this one's, you'll be able to have both at the same time.
