It's been a hectic month, but I finally made it - the fifth of my January maps! This is a ruined fountain in the woods, built centuries ago. While working on the map, I envisioned it as a shrine of sorts to some long-forgotten deity.

This is another simple encounter map - a ruined bridge in the woods with some weather variants. Perhaps it simply fell apart over time, or perhaps it was destroyed to cut off supply lines or to isolate a settlement? Perhaps it was simply caught in the crossfire of a monster attack, or some water-...
As you wander through the sea of trees, you find it - a stone monolith, standing tall in the midst of a clearing. From the tree line you can just about make out faded etchings along its length - you recognise only a handful of the runes. The other, unfamiliar, carvings, strike you as almost otherworldly.

I'm going to be celebrating Christmas with my family for the next few days, and after that, I'm going to be travelling to the US for three months - it's all very exciting!
