We shot at the beach during magic hour (those photos coming next), but after the sun set I wanted to try using flash.  However the camera lens had condensation from the sea air, and the result was this ghostly glow....which I actually love.  Happy accidents : )

I don't do a lot of studio shoots, and lighting is important. It shows everything! Every smudge, every blemish. That's why I prefer natural light. But these are kind of fun, right? Something different.

While I am not allowed to exist on Twitter, someone impersonating me is allowed to. I don't really understand this world I'm living in. Women are villainized, as soon as we start to become successful using our own bodies. It's been a pretty depressing month for me to be honest.

Looking for inspiration.

I've been feeling pretty uninspired lately.  My physical body hasn't been feeling that great.  I've long struggled with inexplicable fatigue, which I always attributed to depression. But things are going relatively well, things are calm right now.  Do I thrive artistically on struggle and drama?  I hope not.

I feel a bit disconnected from my body.  This year has been an onslaught of physical obstructions.  Covid, the flu, foot surgery, general fatigue and pain, aging and loss of strength, and now allergies...

Not everything is as it seems. This was one of the most stressful vacations of my life, haha! It was a group of Detroit and New York art friends, including my sister. Painters, writers, video game designers, filmmakers. Not an influencer vacay type crew.
