I've spent the past week experimenting with the new workstation and checking render times plus a lot of new software. These first ones are HD but simple compositions and fast renders. In the future I will do the usual more complex sets but at better resolution.
The new workstation allows much faster renders so I can now produce more complex scenes or better resolution images. If you download these, into slide viewed you can use the magnify function to see amazing detail that wasn't really possible before....

Thanks to my Patrons (...and an apology for a late post...)
I've had a new HP computer workstation on order for a while and it arrived yesterday...yes, a Sunday! We are in the process of configuration and moving all of my DAZ Studio files, folders and products to the new machine. This is quite time-consuming (around 600GB of data) and delayed my normal Sunday post. My apologies, but it will all be worth it.
This will replace my old laptop, a top of the range gaming laptop, now three years old. The new machine is massively faster and is designed specifically for rendering...

One of the problems in creating muscular men in DAZ Studio is getting clothes to fit without 'poke-through'. This time, I decided to start with a fitness model type character and optimise him clothed and here he is. He is Ken a young lecturing assistant post-grad student at the University. He will feature in a future set based in a university.
Of course, he'll provably spend most of the set without any clothes on but it was a good experiment!
