The very first thing I find inside of the cave is a bunch of insects. Large ones spanning a meter in height with six legs, two compound eyes, and a hard carapace and shell.
Basically giant beetles. With a glowing green liquid dripping from their mouths.

I edited an earlier chapter. The chapter when Scarlet first met Arkaz.
Then a slightly demonic sounding message plays out in my head. One vastly different from any other System message as I physically see a label appearing above his head and not just sounding out in my head.

After checking each of the skills’ descriptions, I find that the only ones to have changed are Pain Diffusion and Blood Regeneration. Pain Diffusion can now diffuse up to sixty percent of the pain, and I only have to feel half of the pain in the next week after using the skill diffused through the week instead of all of it. Blood Regeneration’s description simply changes to changes the word ‘significantly’ before the ‘increases the natural regeneration of the user, both in terms of life energy and man...
