I've always wanted to call some...
Oh boy, here we go... the original 44-pgs of thumbnail comics for Chapter 1 of the Meek, circa 2007 (download attachment below). The art and writing is semi-horrendous, but you can see the bones of what eventually became the final Chapter 1. That's pretty much the point of doing this type of comic... by the time I've drawn it I've distilled the essence of everything I really don't want to do, so I can avoid that for the final!

Was digging around for an old PSD and found this thing I completely forgot about from 2014 (before the comic launched). Law of Holes was the original title of Chapter 1, but I thought the quote/ concept was too specific and not the vibe I wanted, so I scrapped it. As you can see though, the color triad (blue/ pink/ yellow) was there from the beginning. A lot more minimalistic than the eventual final style but I still really like it tbh.
