ENG - This cast is very uncomfortable and restrictive in every way, but there is one thing it's good for: sitting on a bench, hahaha 😝

ENG - Van Van didn't do well with the crutches. I spent a long time trying to teach her, but she didn't do well. I'm worried because I had big plans for her. On the bright side, her toes are beautiful, and she's enjoying the experience of being in a cast.

ENG - The tour of the city centre is over and I'm far from the car, so it's another walk with crutches to get there!

First steps with cast!

ENG - I realized that what comes easily and naturally to me doesn't work for other people. Van Van had trouble walking with her cast! Her foot wasn't at the right angle, which made it a little difficult too. But that has its charm :)

DE - Ich habe gemerkt, dass das, was mir leicht und natürlich fällt, bei anderen Menschen nicht funktioniert. Van Van hatte Schwierigkeiten, mit dem Gips zu laufen! Ihr Fuß war nicht im richtigen Winkel, was es auch etwas erschwert. Aber das hat auch seinen Reiz :)

ENG - A few things happened while we were making the plaster cast! This is a moment that requires concentration, but when people change or there is a lot of background chatter, mistakes can happen. Did you notice why we changed from yellow to blue? Luckily, the plaster was still wet and we were able to change it... And Van Van's toes? Beautiful!

Necessary rest

ENG - This cast is heavy and very tiring to wear. It's impossible to put my foot on the ground. So I need to take a break from time to time. Do you like to think about my restriction?

DE - Dieser Gips ist schwer und sehr anstrengend. Es ist unmöglich, den Fuß auf den Boden zu stellen. Deshalb muss man von Zeit zu Zeit eine Pause einlegen. Denkst du gerne über meine Einschränkung nach?

PT - Esse gesso é pesado e bem cansativo de estar com ele. É impossível apoiar o pé no chão. Então se faz necessário uma pausa de tempos...

Good vibes in the park and in a cast

ENG - It was really nice to spend this afternoon in the park with my cast on. I like the feeling of the cast being warmed by the sun.

DE - Es war sehr angenehm, diesen Nachmittag mit Gipsverband im Park zu verbringen. Ich mag das Gefühl, wenn der Gipsverband von der Sonne erwärmt wird.

Escalator/Rolltreppe

ENG - It's very difficult to get on and off an escalator with crutches! Has anyone here ever done this? I think I did pretty well :)

DE - Es ist sehr schwierig, mit Krücken auf eine Rolltreppe zu steigen und wieder herunterzukommen! Hat das hier schon jemand gemacht? Ich finde, ich habe das ganz gut hinbekommen :)

PT - É muito difícil entrar e sair na escada rolante de muletas!! Alguém aqui já fez isso? Eu acho que eu fui bem :)

Sunbathing in the park :)

ENG - My city is more cloudy than sunny. Today was the perfect day to spend some time in the park.

ENG - After eating an empanada, I came to Japan Square. I always wanted to come here, but I have a relative who lives here and I was always afraid of running into her. This time I decided to try my luck and everything worked out! Lots of people were staring at my cast and me walking on crutches!

They asked me to stop filming.

ENG - I was filming inside the market when a woman came up and asked me to stop filming. That had never happened to me before! Is that even allowed? Even so, the video turned out great, with a massive walk on crutches and that big cast!
