A very rough sketch plus base colours for a contribution for Mer-may! Hoping to get this done tomorrow in full but I wanted to get some colours done overnight so I can stew on it! Also have a failed sketch too that didn't quite work out. I liked it but it felt too unfocused so i threw it out in favour of a new one after studying some orcas breaching.
