Honestly, what went down left me absolutely speechless, easily surpassing my favorite events from last time as the sheer strength of a complete relic like Durandal's not to be understated or underestimated... the level of destruction, aided by their location, was unreal and it was presented so damn well. RECONCILIATION! Jiu-Jiu & Hongqiao are exactly what Shouxue needs, more people who truly care about her (not just Gaojun & the Flower Princess), expressing concerns & compassion beyond what their positions dictate... it is these bonds of friendship that she'll treasure & never abandon, that'll help release her from the suffering of isolation. I cannot lie, it still makes me emotional knowing they understand her true identity & will carry the secret to their graves... it's such a meaningful moment.

Off we go, whisked away into Clara's Toy Box, a wondrous world of endless (nonsensical) playtime... and our mana's slowly drained away by this terrifying combination technique between her bloodline ability & illusionary magic! SYMPHOGEAR BRAWL! SHOW YOUR RESOLVE! So, it turns out, the Noise attack was a distraction, as Hibiki's the Nehustan's target (for abduction), which makes me wonder what exactly makes her so special... the difference in strength between a complete relic & the fragments wielded by Tsubasa & Hibiki is unreal, it took a Superb Song to send her flying & force a retreat. I can't wait to learn more about this new girl, the armor design's sick!

Shouxue's isolation continues to be disrupted, not only by Gaojun's frequent visits, but now Jiu-Jiu & Hongqiao assist her daily life at the Ye Ming Palace, in addition to Yun Huaniang (the Flower Princess) officially requesting her assistance to resolve the status & whereabouts of her (deceased) beloved's soul. It was yet another emotional reunion, as her Flower Whistle went off, when Ou's soul did manage to visit her as per tradition...

FOLLOW YOUR OWN PATH! It was cool to see Nagomi resolve herself & actively fight, but much like this whole arc, it felt like it could have used more time to build it up properly... to make it hit all the harder, cause it felt sorta hollow. I said it before when it came to last week's "shock emotional scene" but rushing towards a plot point or conclusion only makes the story weaker as a result, I could've cared more about characters actions or deaths if I had spent more time with them.

SHERRY'S SO CUTE! I mean, even the animators were straight up "down bad" when it came to her scenes, those were QUALITY and I can appreciate the effort & passion towards her. It just makes me so undeniably happy to watch characters embrace anger and extreme violence, berserker states are so entertaining to behold, and Hibiki's scenes were exactly what I wanted.
