Ended up cleaning this sketch up a bit and slapping some color on. Tried messing with handwritten dialogue, but I don't think it looks good on account of my bad handwriting. I'll have to experiment with fonts and look into what comic or manga artists do for speech/sfx bubbles more.

have any practice with writing...
