Welcome to all the new patrons who have signed up this week! We've had a small surge of newcomers and I'm delighted to welcome them into the Swan's Nest.
With all of yours support we are on the brink of something jolly exciting--we are only $7 (or so) away from hitting our next milestone! That's epic. Thank you. I hope to report next week that we've raised our freelance pay rate to 7 cents a word.

Decrepit and deteriorating, an abandoned settlement poses both unique dangers and enticing opportunities for adventurers. No adventuring site is riper for the looting than a place forgotten and abandoned by protectors and authorities. Still, abandoned doesn’t always mean empty: deserted settlements are attractive to squatters, hermits, vermin, urban monsters, bandits, outlaws, feral dogs and other wild animal...

A Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Compatible GM's Resource by Nicholas Wasko
Not all dungeons feature the traditional setup of a monster-filled subterranean network of rooms and passages. Druidic groves, haunted houses, rank sewers and more can all serve as an exciting backdrop to the PCs’ adventures. Such locations present their own set of un...

The small island of Kennutcat, with its broad natural harbour and bountiful fishing, proved to be a great boon to early colonizers. After subjugating the native inhabitants, the colonizers quickly established a small prosperous village catering to the many merchant ships sailing the nearby trading routes. Yet, at night, a thick fog rolls in, blanketing the stone streets a...

A Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Compatible GM’s Resource by Josh Vogt
Adventurers are always looting the bodies of their vanquished foes. Often the GM simply reads off the villain’s equipment list and the players move on. In this situation, beyond armour, weapons, magic items and some coin most foes never seem to carry anything of minor interest. This doesn’t help the GM diligently tryi...

Earlier this week, I posted that Raging Swan Press was participating in the Christmas in July sale over at OBS. While we are participating in the sale, I got our offer wrong. In my excitement to spread the word I accidentally (somehow) said that all our products--both PDF and print--were 40% off. This was wrong, and I apologise.
In fact our offer is 25% off all PDFs and 15% off all print products. If you've purchased our products during the sale under the impression that they would get 40% off I need to make it right with you...

As you no doubt know by now, with your help Raging Swan Press achieved its second milestone target yesterday! Now, with your help, we raise $200 a product which means we can pay our designers 5 cents a word. I'm tremendously proud of what we've achieved together and I just wanted to write you a brief note of thanks.
Of course, our work is not yet done! At $300 we can increase our pay again to 7 cents a word, which (I think)...
