Last time I posted anything here I had issues with my external drive again where all files who's names began with letters after C were just not showing up, eventually I got it fixed and was able to access the files I needed, but while the C files were the last files displayed in the folder, I found this piece unfinished with no memory whatsoever of having started it let alone why I didn't finish it...

It didn't even get corrupted, it just straight-up stopped existing for no reason. For context, I drew this on my laptop and transferred it from an external drive to my desktop which is what I'm posting from, so either something went wrong with the drive and it didn't save the PSD...
