I'm so sorry for the radio silence. This past week was rough, but things are slowly coming together.

The worst part of the move is finally done, so theoretically, everything should get better and better from now on! I've been painting furniture non stop since we moved, something we couldn't do in our previous apartment due to the lack of space. Hello my dear patrons! How're you doing?? 🍒✨🐤

Today I have just a few sketchbook pages and some messy doodles to share. I haven't been drawing that much lately, but I wanted to catch up with you because I feel I've been a bit quiet.

Long story short: We're supposed to move next Wednesday but our new kitchen won't be installed and ready until July 10th, so we're planning on asking if que can stay two weeks more in this apartment we're currently in. I really don't want to put more money into this flat or delaying the moving...

How I draw & paint hair // step by step

Here's a small but highly requested tutorial on how I approach drawing hair! This is what I do 99% of the time, not a mind blowing process at all lol but hope it helps!

Just for extra clarification, this is what I mean by selecting with the lasso. The first pic shows how my selections normally look, then I apply a bit of gradient from a side (trying to avoid painting the whole selection) and second pic is how it should look! You can make it as subtle as you want.

I wanted to share with you some new art I just finished to post on Tuesday :D Ohuhu reached out a month ago to collaborate for their 5th year anniversary and ask me to do a post using their markers. Of course I said yes because I've been enjoying their markers  lot and they are no doubt the best Copic alternative out there. I used Copic markers, Copic multiliners for inking, a Tombow Fudenosuke pen for line weight, Posca pens and Kuretake white ink on my Artgecko Freestyle sketchbook :)

Today I took a short time to finish this piece I started a couple of weeks ago actually. I'm curating a box of some of my favorite art supplies for the people at Upcrate, and in the meantime they sent me a couple of their previous boxes to try out!
