Noemie " Deep Forest" first part

   Despite all the work in progress (notably this end of the weekend), I couldn't resist the urge to process the first images with Noemie.

      As I suspected, this series should end with her. Her plastic, her gestures, and of course her engraving on the body follow the lines of the plants and complete the composition.

As I told you about last month, I just did the last session of the "Deep Forest" series (it's time to move on), with the always incredible Noemie Doragon.

       Obviously the sets were cut for her at the start so the session was a real moment rich in images and emotion. Of course, now there will be a lot of selection work, and especially colorimetry.

    I had to be discreet to be able to approach him, and finally succeed in these wild images at the end of the day.

Double test

   As the weekend is going to be long, and I'm a bit away from the computer, here's a double post, for a double test from the Marylin agency.

  2 totally different girls, with whom I would have liked to work again. But one became a mom and stopped, and the other went back to Guadeloupe, because there was no more work (we were between 2 confinements).

image processing and retouching

   As you are on a privileged level, I show you here what I never show.

   Not because I want to keep a processing secret, but rather because I reprocess my images very little. Firstly because I don't like wasting time on it (so I take care of my shots), and especially because I know very little about Photoshop, having never taken a course.

      So, in general, for my outdoor images, I don't spend more than 10 minutes on them, and on studio photos, it can go up to 20 mi...

We only had 2 days left before the return.

we had just spent some time visiting very beautiful and typical places (like the very surprising and very white city of Ostuni), but also very touristy, and not really inspiring for the photo. And we wanted to do one last session.

      Before leaving the North of Puglia; we had been advised to visit Vieste. Former fishing town at the tip of Gargano.

     It is indeed a city with a very astonishing architecture and geometry, but far too eaten up by tourism. From the neck we only made a quick passage there, during which I tried a school work of composition. It had been a long time since I had tried this kind of exercise.

    We had just spent 3 days in northern Puglia around the Gargano. And we were on our way south. On the almost deserted route along the sea, I saw this very strange building. intrigued I turned around to come and see what it was all about.

He was at the edge of the water, on a small deserted beach. It seemed long abandoned.

    Some images from the end of the session on this magnificent beach of "Gargano" (north of Puglia). Always at x20, using its wide angle. And I just let my beautiful trixie play with her sweater. Sometimes simple things are enough to give material to the model......

    On the 2nd day of our arrival, we came across this amazing beach. a bit by chance and spite. because you should know that there, many beaches are private, and therefore inaccessible out of season.

     It is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen, and perfect for taking pictures. Especially since in this season, there is hardly anyone. (I can tell you exactly where it is on request, if you are interested).

    This is the first time that I have tried, and, I think, succeeded in this optical effect.

     This was not planned at all. I was doing a low angle portrait of trixie on the beach (which I also post here), with the rear grazing light. And I realized that in the lens; I could pick up our beach neighbours.

     What do you think of the effect?

boot heel return......

    As I told you last week, I have just come back from what is called "the heel of Italy's boot": Puglia.

     I admit that a week is a little too short to see everything, and organize shootings. but it gave me some great leads, and above all, a desire to go back on a road trip. the landscapes make you want to take pictures.
