Sailing The Greek Island of Samos - WHEN FOMO STRIKES! - S2•Ep18

Hi Guys!  In this sailing episode, Laura changes our tack after doing some research - we set sail from Samos Port and head east to a unique anchorage called 'Posidonio'.  This idilic spot could almost be heaven....just watch out for jellyfish!

HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY J-MAN!!

Most premature babies don’t cry when they are born.

Their lungs are not fully developed yet. But from the minute Josh entered the world at a tiny 2lb 4oz, 11 weeks early, he showed up kicking and screaming - full of life and proving his place as a true fighter!

Against all odds he powered his way back to our home 9 weeks later and has shined his big (loud) heart out into the world ever since....spreading positivity everywhere he goes!

Josh - you are a LEGEND and one of the biggest reasons why we decided that average ...

Hey Guys!

Update: we are finally settled and enjoying some Cypriot sun!! A good 5 degrees warmer than the Greek climate at this time of year so we’re pushing for an endless summer....

Sadly life hasn’t been without it’s trials and so being here with close family and in a little comfort has been the medicine we all needed. Wearing as many items of our clothing as possible (with 3 carry on bags between the 4 of us - one totally devoted to vlogging and editing gear 😂) and sweltering in 23deg as a result....CYPRUS HERE WE COME!

Hope all is well guys and girls....apologies for a little radio silence. We’ve had some health issues on board and the small matter of winterising Holly Blue and getting us lot flight-ready this week!!

LEAVING...on a jet plane ✈️

We have all had a really enriching time of it recently - with two special family visits from grandparents after so so long apart (thanks Covid👎).

Now we’re ready for the next adventure! Not keen on spending the whole winter in a marina again we have decided to leave Holly Blue safely sleeping and protected from winter storms here and we leave from Greece to Cyprus for the winter in 1.5 weeks time!!

A new adventure begins on land for a few months so we would really LOVE your ideas of what we can vlog whilst we are...

SAILING CHANNEL SURPRISE COLLAB! 🎉 Samos Island Waterfalls • S2:Ep14

Hi Guys! In this Sailing Episode we meet up with a SURPRISE YouTube Sailing Channel, who by complete coincidence happened to be in the same Samos anchorage, at the same time as us!  We got on really well with this Sailing Couple straight of the beat.  We had a lovely day out exploring more of what Samos Island has to offer and enjoying "The Simple Life".  It wouldn't be a Sailing Holly Blue Episode tho without a touch of drama from Laura in her bikini!

Hello everyone!

How are you all doing? We just wanted to touch base and update you guys as we are aware it’s been a minute...we just finished taking a much needed 10 days off work, reduced our social media content, and our our phone down for a bit to welcome and enjoy spending time with Laura’s mum (Nanny Pearce) who visited us all the way from Cyprus...

It’s been over two years since fate allowed us to be together and we have missed many occasions in the wake of Covid so it was a really special time ...

S2:EP10 • THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM • But where do we go from here?

In this episode we take cover from high winds in the Greek island bay of Marathos (aka Marathi) after a quick morning motor....but up ahead in the forecast there's a belt of stronger Meltemi winds threatening to hit the island which could keep us boat-bound in gale-force winds and waves for up to 10 days.  We need to leave....but any sail we take from here isn't going to be pretty!

One of those situations no sailor (let alone one with a young family) likes to be in.....so what do we decide?!

S2:Ep8 - BOAT LIFE REALITY & Sailing to Arkoi Island AKA "The Maldives of Greece"

Hi Guys!  

In this episode we walk you through our Boat Life, where family tensions run high and Laura goes skinny dipping to cool off... Also we explore Archangelos via 'Noah-cam' and sail Holly Blue to the remarkably beautiful Greek Island Arkoi - with a population of only 54 inhabitants, crystal clear turquoise waters and shimmering white sands....it's no wonder it's famed for being the Greek equivalent to the Maldives! Sit back and enjoy a cold one in this short but very picturesque sailing episode along with the usual banter....

What an amazing weekend!

We stayed in yet another lovely Airbnb where we were able to record some great Yoga Flows for Laura’s Boat Fit crew, Ross was busy editing (see previous LIVE on the Sailing Holly Blue Private Members group one Facebook 😂) and we had the most touching visit with Greek captain Antonis Kampourakis - who has been diving into the depths of the Aegean sea, scouring the seafloor for precious sponges, for over 50 years!

Antonis is over 80 years old and still to this day dives for spon...

S2:Ep7 A SEXY SAIL to TINY Archangelos Island - Laura talks NUDITY, BOAT LIFE & conquering FEAR!

Hi guys!  

In this episode we talk sailing and nudity, the benefits of anchor life over marinas and how conquering your fears is the way to grow in this challenging lifestyle!  Laura takes the helm and we have an awesome sail as we fly over some beasty waves to the tiny remote near-uninhabited Greek Island of Archangelos - after stopping over in nearby Leros Island for provisions!   We hope you are enjoying our journey as we explore and develop as a live aboard family....so much more to come guys....we are evolving!...
