Hey peeps!

Like I said, I'm here to bring you the behind the scenes of the Frith Chronicles comic. This is Volke's template! Please remember that this is Volke BEFORE he merges with Luthair, and while he's still a Gravedigger. His clothing (and shovel) reflect that, haha

He's taller than the other characters, and hopefully appropriate lanky. Since he's 15, and yet to do all his training to be an amazing arcanist, he should look more "normal guy" than "awesome hero" so that as he changes throughout the series, we see it reflected ...

Six Words [Chapters 21-22]

Hey peeps!

So, I read a lot of this story out loud, and while I love the honorifics, I did eliminate 2 and change 2 (so that they didn't sound so much alike.)

I need to remember this is being made into an audiobook, and I can't have them sounding nearly identical, so I changed the standard honorific ten to kain, and and the warrior honorific tsin to zar.

I'll list them here (just in case anyone was curious):

Her outfit is her gravedigger outfit (for the chapters on the Isle of Ruma). I think the artist captured her personality, though! And I love the way he did the scars on her face.

Knightmare Arcanist Comic [First Chapter]

Hey peeps!

Here is the first chapter of the comic (done in storyboard format). The artwork is done by Jade, and is meant to be the simple outline for when the next artist will come in to fill in all the detail (and color everything)

Frith Chronicles Comic [2 Pages]

This week has been nothing but announcements, but this one is HUGE!

The first steps of the Frith Chronicles comic have started, and look!! This is the story board phase, really - where all the characters and settings are placed down so you can see where people will be, and what they will be saying. (Story boarding done by Jade)

Hey peeps!

Jeff Hays is one of the BEST audiobook narrators. His name sells more audio than any other male narrator, and he is best known for his work on Dungeon Crawler Carl. He owns Soundbooth Theater, and I've had the pleasure of talking to him about my urban fantasy series, Time-Marked Warlock.

Quick Update [4/8/2024]

Hey peeps!

Fun news: The short story (and rights to the series) for Six Words has been sold to Aethon. Rhett, the owner, liked it, and thought it could work as a cool story once we hashed out an outline. It's not going to be released until 2025, but just in case you were all curious, there it is. Still considering just forcing the issue and writing a female protag, since my gut instinct was to tell it from her POV. BUT, I don't have to worry about that until later.

I mailed out so many posters/pendants/pins that the receipt was very lengthy! The people at the post office said I should start having a company do all my mailing.

Six Words [Male Protagonist, Progression Fantasy]

I wrote a short story a few months back titled "Six Words" and two publishers expressed interest in picking it up. However, one of them wanted it with a male protagonist instead of a lady.

Frith Guild Pendants ARE IN! [3/22/2024]

Time-Marked Warlock ARC Book! {Release Date??}

Hello peeps!

Just to keep everyone in the loop: Time-Marked Warlock will be releasing in April. I moved it from the start of March for a variety of reasons, one of which is because I didn't want to conflict with Death Lord Arcanist (which releases late March).

I want to launch to be AMAZING, and because there are some snags, I'm putting it out a little bit.

Finalizing Pendants [Shape] + Writing Update! [2/21/2024]

Hey peeps!

Please see the above image. There is a dog tag, circle, and shield-shaped pendant. I THINK, I'm going to go with the shield for the Patreon peeps, and the dog tag (in antique copper) for the Frith Guild, and the circle for the Steel Thorn Inquisitors (to give them all their own unique feel).

What do you guys think? Or should I have them all uniform except for the image on them?

Hello peeps!

Please see the attached image to this post. There are two designs for guild pendants. 

Which is better? Black/Silver? Or mostly silver? 

Whatever you peeps decide will be how I handle all future pendants (Frith Guild, Steel Thorn, etc.) so please tell me which looks the coolest! 

And if you have other ideas for making it better (a different shape of the design, like a dog tag, or more circle, etc.) please let me know. It would be extremely helpful. o.o

Guild Pendants for Patreons! [2/11/2024]

Hey peeps!

It came to my attention that people would like Guild Pendants (as seen in the Frith Chronicles) as merch/collectables, etc.

SO, I looked into it, and they are in the affordable range! That means I just need to get cool images for the guilds (such as the Frith's sword and shield, the Steel Thorn Inquisitors chains/thorns) so I can get them formally made into cool metal pendants (probably about 1 inch in size).

HOWEVER, after talking with peoples on the Discord, I think I'm going to make super-special Patreon-only ...

The Deathdealer's Gift [February Short Story]
