The second video of the month has arrived, here's Surge of Power! from Mega Man Battle Network 6!
Back in March, it was brought to my attention that Mega Man Battle Network's 20th anniversary was this year on March 21st. I was neck deep in working on Side-Quests 3 videos at the time, so I couldn't get this done on the exact day, but I made it a high priority to finally get to a full Battle Network remix as soon as I could.

After a few years of only changing a piece here and there, I completely revamped my drum kit as well as my mastering chain. I think the result is pretty good so far!

Track #7 from Side-Quests 3 is up, here's Burning Blood from Final Fantasy Legend II!
This is the final dungeon theme from the game, and as such, contains a part of a melody you might find familiar from the final boss theme Save the World, which we also covered back in 2019.
Also, it turns out the actual name of this song is Boiling Blood (thanks to the official SaGa 2 soundtrack release), so I may be making that change to the title once SQ3 is released publicly,...

Our longest Side-Quests song to date at a little over 6 minutes, and that's including the other 2 albums as well! Originally a synth heavy EDM song, I'm really happy with how this one turned out.

We're now onto track #4 of the Side-Quests Volume 3 album: Megalomania from Live A Live!
I did this song back in the 2015 SNES Medley where it sounded... far worse, haha. I think this is a dramatic improvement! It was also one of the more requested songs for a full version from that medley.
