Major Project Update

Okay, where do I start with this? (TL:DR at bottom)

I haven't really mentioned this project anywhere else and I'm taking my time with it and trying to be careful about how I go about it. The current cast and world is a lot different than when I first started to work on this. The characters are more thought out and the world will hopefully feel more real when it comes to being inked and colored.

I'm trying a different thing and so far I'm having fun with it. Instead of a bunch of small progress on different drawings I'm buckling down and focusing on one at a time.

Revamped My "Now Streaming" Title Card

Hey, so since the Tumblrpocalypse is upon us I've been using my time the past few days trying to find out where my favorite artists are going. I myself won't be using Tumblr from the 17th, and onwards. 

I've jumped to trying out some new places since everyone is scattering, I'll be on:

Warm Up

I made this for a close friend who's dog passed away. He got me into the Persona games and so far this one is still my favorite. I didn't want this month to end without me posting something. This was made from start to finish in about a day. I might go back and add shadows and a second set of colors if time permits.

Uhh life update

Tis bad, very bad. Expect stress drawings. Super quick sum. Close friends' dog died while he was away. Ou dog almost died, TWICE and that took a giant chunck out of our savings. my health insurance is gone. Almost lost my job. Oh, did do a stream last Wednesday but it was on Sweet's profile so people were very confused because I didn't notice at the time, just thought different people were here than usual and thus kinda put her in the hotseat for them asking about what I usually draw. I've been spending a lot of time reading and writing so it's time I dusted off some rust in the drawing department. I feel like my poses have been stiff so I'll be doing anatomy stuff for a good amount of time on Sunday. Hope to see you there.

Fun times in Raven's room!

Been pretty busy but having fun. I put together a folder using dropbox that holds this months sketches and touch ups, along with a few I'm not sure if I've posted or not. So that digital sketch is I did awhile back was spawned by this sketchbook idea I had. So she goes from the above with Claire and Moira to the below with Barry. I still like the idea of her protecting Barry instead of the other way around, it just makes me laugh to have this sweet girl just utterly kicking ass with just a brick and leaving Barry with all his guns on the sidelines like, "Don't worry, nothing bad will happen while I'm around."

Manabe-kun, Stop Thinking That!

Kotoura-san was a really interesting anime. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. So I had some extra time today to ink some sketches. My thought is that by inking a sketch I cut out a middle step in the refinement stages for digital sketches and I need all the time savers I can get. Plus it helps me to get a steadier hand. Sweets actually pointed out that I have technically been doing some Inktober stuff if you count these.

Don't usually do attribute theft, not really my bag but I found it a little funny. I'll finally be doing some digital work tomorrow so I'm pretty stoked about that.

Character Sheet (wip) - Elena

Okay! 

So now that I've gotten the text and design done for the back and fronts of these character sheets means I can finally start drawing the characters. 

Here we have Elena, she's the mascot I use for when I'm streaming but that wasn't her initial intended use. I think she's my favorite of the characters but that might be because she's the nicest of the bunch. 

This is still a work in progress because the character only has flat colors and no background. I'll update that later and she'll be all done and I can swi...

Inktober Junk, Day 1: The First Boss

I'm actually going to post just this one today. The others came out like super garbage and I don't want to clog the feed with stuff that's not that great. I was happy with how this guy came out. I'm still going to work on them but I'm going to make them look better first.  

The one I picked goes like this(it's a mix of three):

Here's Elena's so you can get a better idea of how the stats are determined. Each stat does a certain amount of things but here's the core of them:

Vitality determines hit points.

Strength determines attack power.

Agility determines movement speed in a turn.

Endurance determines the character's base defense.

Willpower determines mental resistance.

Discipline determines the resistance a character has to...

Character Sheet Ver. 3.0

Hey, everybody. So October is here and that means I'm a lot more busy than I've already been, but it's all coming together steadily enough. 

I am doing Inktober, but I'll be updating on those on the 10th, 20th, and 31st.

Secondly, I've been working on character sheets for Wolf's Blood and it's connected stories and I'll be using this to get a steady idea of the strengths and weaknesses of each character. Okay, so real talk, the days I've been back have been pretty hectic. I'm not getting into it because it's just a little too much. I'm okay, just soaking it all in. 

Anyways, I was thinking of Resident Evil Revelations 2 and I was thinking over how the virus is essentially supposed to create a "perfect" life for. So i just took it and ran with the idea of Natalia getting swole and keeping Barry safe instead of the other way around. Silly.
