Michael wants his estranged friend to quit drugs, and the only way he can think to accomplish this is to chain him to a pipe for seven days and make him quit cold turkey. Chris obviously hates this. And over the course of those seven days, Chris and Michael don't just have to deal with unhinged drug dealers and heavies from reservation security, but a menacing force that seems to be goading them along into a story with a horrible and violent ending.

Abject Suffering 399: Guilty Gear Isuka

We believe that Guilty Gear is a good series that just isn't for us. We don't really go in for hyper-stylized, chaotic fighting games like this. What everyone can agree on, we think, is that Guilty Gear Isuka is a very bad entry in that series. In an attempt to add some gimmicks to the series, the developers break the design conventions that make 2D fighters work, making for a uniquely unpleasant experience.

Watch Out for Fireballs! 314: Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus (Premium)

You know, there's nothing wrong with an above average fastfood sandwich. Sometimes, your body just craves a pretty good game that does everything decently, while not doing anything exceptionally well, and is over in 5 or 6 hours. That game is Ratchet and Clank, which is a total snack game with some unintentionally hilarious pathos and very satisfying weapon upgrades.

The odds are always stacked against a sophomore effort. The original Myst was a gigantic success and had a huge cultural impact, finding fans in unlikely places due to its advanced graphics and leisurely pace. Cyan knocked it out of the park when it came to Riven, though, improving on every aspect of the original Myst, while expanding it and making one of the most challenging puzzle adventure games of all time.
