What is curious to myself is how my brain seemingly has multiple coloring modes, and each of those modes usually switches on even before I start sketching, thus influencing what and ow I am actually going to draw and ink:
1) commissions and personal drawings - these I can almost never imagine in anything but monochrome. A tint of my "golden" tone, or a splatter of red, sure, but not much else!

ALTIPLANO A4 commission!
Notice how I blocked everything out in lineart here before moving to "fill-ins"? More order, less chaos. Maybe even a tad more thinking! I've been doing it in almost every small drawing during our Montenegro trip, and it might've actually changed my approach for doing these things in general - at least for a time, and on A5/A4 format!

XP-PEN 12 Artist Pro
Heya! So, me and Katia had our 10th wedding anniversary on Sept 15th, and I kinda treated myself to a new graphic tablet to commemorate it XD And boy oh boy, after 10+ years on my Intuos 3, and never even being in a close proximity of Cintiq, this tablet is a truly transcendent experience!
Here's first set of character portraits I inked digitally for Cantata, as well as a photo of my current laptop/tablet setup. And you could see my old secondary display there just turned off on top of that
