Alright so I finally got around to playing Genshin Impact again and exploration through Fontaine has been a real blast! It really feels great to be exploring again which was one of the things I always loved about the game aside from learning more about the world and the odd quirky elemental reactions you can see from character interactions.

Phew~ It's been a while since I made these dialogue variations. I think this took longer than usual as a result of the hiatus and because I wanted to be as perfect as I can be with how well I know the character interaction and dynamics before attempting these again. I went back and re-read the manga to see more and more into Fern's speech pattern and her general personality.

Announcement and Short Blog

Hi everyone, just a small announcement for those of you who took part in the Goods event. I'm happy to announce that as of today I sent most of the packages today! It literally took all week to get everything organized! Writing 300+ postcards and taking down everyone's addresses, packaging etc took a lot out of me but I'm super happy that it's all done and dusted! I hope these will be welcome gifts for you guys at the end of the year.

And here is the finished artwork for Fern from Sousou no Frieren! Maybe it's just me but she sort of reminded me of Matou Sakura from Fate/Stay Night and Patchouli Knowledge from Touhou. I really wanted to talk about what I like about her but with so many people starting to watch Frieren these days, I worry whether or not I would inevitably end up spoiling it for someone.

Well, if you've been on my discord and on twitch, you probably know by now that I'm currently really enjoying Frieren: Beyond Journey's End anime series. The other day I began to start drawing sketches for Fern while making alt variation for this piece offline. Ah, for those of you wondering, yes I'm back to regular Patreon activities! I'm currently watching Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and really enjoyed the show so I ended up wanting to draw Frieren. It's been a long while since I've really enjoyed a Fantasy setting in anime so this one really stood out to me from the usual Fantasy anime that I've skipped as of late.
