I have watched this piece so many times, it makes me cry or feel very strongly every time I do. I would give it a shot and be patient for the story to reveal itself. It's about a fictional witch scientist who makes "cures" out of found chemicals. It's difficult to tell from the framing whether her concoctions work or not because the narrator could be an unreliable. It's easy to watch this video and read it in context of modern science...

I am currently making a tiny video in dedication to a weird image I found of a snoring man. I found him when I was listening to videos of people snoring. I made this makeshift medieval outfit (because that's the only style I recognize) out of a piggie nighty, a waist trainer and pillow case! I dunno what kind of performance i'm gonna do but it will probably be a weird surreal one.

SHMATA SHOOT

I did it, I went over to my moms house, installed a permanent green screen and filmed my shmata (rag) video! I still have a couple of shots to do but I can now sink into the cosy bosom of my editing software. It's my favourite bosom!! My least favourite bosom is the post-video-release-bosom.

I actually got in costume, filmed all day, didn't like the voice I was using and then filmed the next day. I was much looser on the second filming and think I did my makeup cuter too. I used little decor stencils from Michaels to do my face makeup ...

I said I was working on my fibreglass cosplay but one week ago, I got a brain explosion. I couldn't tell you all about it because then I would be accountable to see it through. After making a medieval headdress, throwing it out, studying different forms of headdresses like jewish headscarves, medieval wimples and hijabs I have created a solid base for the fibreglass girl's head covering. I will be adding accents of fibreglass to it and a tiny medieval circlet. Since fibreglass is always surrounded by unfinished raw wood I thought this would be a good base. Haza! Fibreglass gal possible video

I AM NOT COMITTING TO ANYTHING!! I might be making a video about a romantic fibreglass insulation girl but i'm still waiting for a total brain explosion to fully commit. I will need to redesign the fibreglass bodysuit outfit, this one is bulky and looks amateur (not in an edgy way). I have to decide if i'm going to use my brown hair or give her a wig or hair covering. ALSO, I already have a full pink character with red eyes (Tongue of a Dune sandworm) I will need to be cautious of choosing any similar design elements. That means, no pink wig...

I feel really good now that this video is done. Usually I feel mournful and exhausted after releasing a vid but for some reason these vids leave me feeling more full and excited to make art. Which is ironic because they are the videos that I get the least views from. I think they make me feel good because for the whole month I can just draw and listen to fairy audiobooks.

Holding Scrump Runts Accountable

In the new Scrump video coming out this weekend, you will be introduced to the fictional group of people who are lobbying for Scrump Runts to stop their...what ever it is they do! Basically, they live close to the creek the Scrumps live in and take provocative pictures of SR's on their walks and try and shame them on their FB group. I'm considering making this FB group real just to see what happens. The creek that the scrumps are located in, is based off of a real creek in Toronto that is surrounded by extremely wealthy houses.

Freckled centaur is filmed and i'm almost done editing!

Video should be out by the end of the month. I had fun learning how to do a southern accent and the centaur costume doesn't feel as scary now that I wore it a few times. It does leave bruising on my hips when I wear it for too long though. Bad centaur!

Rat is filmed! E-girl elf is filmed! Next stop, filming the centaur. She will be the most difficult to film because I will need to manage the lights, camera, green screen, moving costume AND perform. I also have to learn a southern accent ahh!

RAT ATTACK!!

I filmed yesterday and for the first time in maybe my life I don't need to reshoot! Filming again today and hopefully finishing my rat scenes so I can move onto my centaur filming. I spent way too long making authentic looking rat ears, but now i'm pretty good at making animal ears which feels like will come in handy. 

Next month i'm only going to make scrump runt content so I can take a break from performing and costume making!

Dear diary: 

Figuring out my costume for centaur. I am trying to go for a cowgirl cottagecore look. It will have horse print leggings, fur around the waist, a corset and possibly a cowgirl hat! Might wear a dirndl blouse under the corset to look more frilly and authentic. I'm not sure yet what kind of hair she should have, if I should keep my brown hair or wear a wig. I think I need more accessories like little rucksacks to carry and belts.

I had a brain explosion

I finally know how I am going to craft the narrative for my centaur platform capitalism vid.  As usual, adding a new character seems to always clear my writers block. I am currently working on a rat girl cosplay...! Will give you more details later. As a little teaser just know that I am planning on making a Maya sized rat tunnel out of cardboard boxes. 

how many times do i need to break my horse legs till they are tamed?

I have already broken them and then re rigged them 4 times! My biggest hurdle in finishing my horse bod is that the structure is quite heavy and it puts a lot of pressure on my tummy. ALSO the legs need to be the perfect length to hang off the ground even when the hooves are on. I have made a special fashioned strap that spreads out the surface area of where the weight falls on my stomach but I don't think it's enough. I am considering adding straps that will go around my shoulders to further distribute the weight! The problem is that it wou...

I noticed you put a towel over my cage last night. I assume it was because I was running around in circles and pushing my sawdust from one side to the other. Hard work. Centaur of Commerce

Yes I know she looks cursed at the moment but I promise with hooves, a tail and when she's attached to a body she will look like a centaur! Best part, her legs are completely mobile and multiple parts of her legs move to look more realistic. I would guesstimate that she will be done in about a week but then I need to make an entire video with her. I am thinking of making a video with a fibreglass insulation girl in the meantime so that I have breathing space for my big centaur film.

Ya that's right I used a drill AND went back to the hardware three times to get the right drill bit, i'm basically your DAD. I feel very excited about where I am with the centaur so far, it's only the 6th and i've made good time. The legs MOVE naturally and i'll be plastering the horse body today woo! It feels empowering to be using PVC pipes, heat guns and chicken wire lol. As a female rat I never learned how to use any tools and I still basically know nothing but it feels badass and romantic to make something so technical like this. <...
