The quest to make sure Eli looks like an otter continues! A decent amount of people could tell already, but I also had people asking what kind of cat he was so that was always in the back of my mind. His body moved towards more of an otter shape - especially his sloped shoulders - so he looks a little less like person with an otter head. It's been a little bit since we've seen Tanner and Syrus - how are they doing, you might ask?

About average.

The thumbnail for this one was super basic, however the middle panel was cute so it's still worth posting. I've been starting to skip most of my extra sketching and do straight to inking with these strips lately, so that's saved some time! Can't get Sy's hair first try though, that's for sure.

Elijah is one of the two I struggled with most design wise, it took several years before I felt like he looked ottery enough.  His design had lots of little changes because I was never quite satisfied with him, but looking back I have a soft spot for almost every variation in same way. So I wasn't planning on going quite this hard with this one but... look at that face, he deserves it! I had a lot of fun with this and really enjoy how it came out. This one's for you all - and I really hope you guys like it too! Keep an eye out for some Elijah goodness in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks again for helping me reach that stretch goal, with any luck I'll get to draw a nice pic for another character next month!
