NEXT D&D VIDEO: BASICALLY DONE

holy shit I've been working on this and rewriting it since October but it's FINALLY DONE.

This video is sitting around 20 minutes long, and is about how to approach homebrewing firearms in 5e and what questions you should ask yourself.

Questions, for instance, like why did this video have to be 20 minutes long?

Pivot striker suit

kinda dealing with art block as of late. I have ideas on things to do but they're all so huge and can't really be done in stream (cause I don't wanna show my hand on them, nor do I know if i even want to start them yet).

Here's an alt outfit for Pivot that's more fight-ready.

Surprising now one, Pivot and Socket were the winners of this month's poll. 

I didn't have too many ideas so I went with ol' reliable (that being a bunsuit). Specifically a bunsuit styled kinda like the Gris Swimsuit.

Also I drew Mimi, who I haven't drawn in a long time. And even did a tiny anim scrap of her.

Socket Design Overhaul

So, Socket was next on my redesign list. Some changes:

• new outfit, a little bit more dynamic / detailed.
• Slightly shorter ponytail, 100% definitely can come undone now.
• Hair has a curl to it.
• KITTY EAR STYLE EAR CAPS

March 2022 Poll is up - new twist

The new poll is now live. 

Based on feedback I've gotten, I've decided for this month to focus on OCs for the poll. As a result it has predominately my own characters.

Truth be told, I have had an issue in the past with poll results giving me a character that I wasn't invested in, though I tried to come up with something decent for them anyway. The advantage of doing OCs is I'll be fully invested no matter what.

Or at least that's my hope.

(Mixed) February rewards

I decided to break the recent convention set forth for milestones, since 3/5 of tonight's milestone requests were of my own OCs. So, everything's a standalone image, though for my own chars I went a bit further cause I liked the suggestions.

I decided to try experimenting with a small tweak to Socket's design, giving her slightly cat-ear like ear covers, instead of the usual circular ones.

Also included: Cesil paizuri.

In other news, my wrist is acting up again. I have the pain in my ring/pinkie fingers which can be a precursor to carpal tunnel. Yay.

I have some exercises to stave it off but we'll see how things are tomorrow. I may have to push back the monthly milestone stream.

Flux Redesign

I've never really been fully satisfied with Flux's design. There was no unifying motif to her design, elements were hard to visualize in 3D space, and the color pallet didn't harmonize very well.

This new design has better translation to 3D, the blades are more interesting and match her design better, and she has a more regular motif of floating bits.

Also featured: concept sketches where I was experimenting with things.

My motivation atm is low, my ideas are nonexistant, and my brain is smooth right now.

I'd say I'm going to take a break but I have nothing to do on said break that would benefit my situation, and only things that'd make it worse.

Finished this tonight. Variants include:

Makes for a total of 24 variants, I've exported them in a halfsize zip (1100x1100 pixels) for people who are on strapped connections or don't need the full version, and fullsize (2200x2200)

technically halfsize is quarter size but shhh.
