I decided to take this commission since I've been asked since a while when I could do it.. and it was simple enough, so here it is! I'm not entirely sure about the character or anything, so I can't say if it makes any sort of sense :D!
the suit I come up with it just playing around with the dress in her reference images I found in google heh.
I got to keep doing these mini wips, so I'll try to make small process blogs from time to time, I'll try to remember!

I wanted to achieve a "light" moment, the comic is always full of dark and sad parts, so I've been trying to give you some "contrast" pages with Aden and Laura lately, their latest pages have more light, more blue, more greens and looks more serene... is you compare them with the ones with C.WALLY in the same episode.

I am making some extra pages for the original script of Derideal episode 11 -> which number might change since remake will have an additional episode compared to the original... Which will affect the episode numeration.
These pages are mostly edgy text about being depressed and not seeing much color in life lately, which will turn the entire episode into "mostly" black and white.

You remember this part from the original comic? it was similar... but it was snowing.
Also, drawing the damn city background took ages xd... I had to come up with creative ways to paint it simple and not ruin every line, but the end result I think looks fine.

I feel it might work better, this episode got kinda longer than I expected, and I think the theme changes right at that page to justify a new episode... and I guess if you read Derideal Legacy you know what's coming at some part of this episode.

Today I was told C.Wally must really hate Aden, and I guess he does... but idk, I always wanted to use the robot in the comic, and the fight scene was the one that made me draw the comic in the first place.
now that I look into the story more calmly, and with a different light... I do think C.WALLY kinda goes overkill this time to kill Aden xd
