2023 Patreon Summary - smut, smut and more smut.

Well. Wow. A new year. Again. So I'm sat here reflecting on 2023 and I'm taking you with me, whether you like it or not.

One Year of NSFW

This time last year I officially converted my Patreon to NSFW, with the purpose of bringing the more intimate side of our bookish boyfriends to light - and boy what a great time we've had! I've gotten tons better at anatomy, especially of the male variety. I've painted 14 dicks this year, and 6 boobies. 7 nsfw pinups and 5 nsfw scenes. 22 paintin...

And by rough i mean rough. Does the concept come across through the scribbles? Also attaching the really elegant phone scribbles I made at 3 am whilst trying to sleep, because of course thats when my brain starts working. Got up in the morning and fleshed it out a bit further on my tablet.

As for who we got here... have a guess! It'll be a surprise until I reveal the cleaned up lines in a few days.

Raihn Sketch [WIP]

I've wanted to draw Raihn from The Serpent and the Wings of Night on his own for ages, but it never felt right. Funny how only a few days after posting the commission of him and Oraya, it suddenly felt right!

Just a nice portrait this time - they were my speciality for many years and every now and then I like going back to it. It almost feels like a palate cleanser.

Back earlier this year Carissa Broadbent approached me for a commission and I had only really read her first book, Daughter of No Worlds. So when she talked about her newest book, and The Serpent and The Wings of Night, I decided to check it out, just because I was curious.

Progress, whoop! 'Tis no longer a mess of tangled lines, but two persons clearly in an intimate setting. Isn't art neat? And for my next trick, I'll add colors.

I had a colorscheme in mind when I first started but I plain forgot it now. We'll see if it comes back to me or if I need to wing it again.

and once again I've spent way too long trying to figure out what the heck im drawing. Usually, coloring is the easiest part for me! This time I had the base pose in mind, and I knew that I wanted the light to be brightest on Halsin's pelvic area (as if you need more of a reason to look down there lol) but other than that it was a free for all.
