I feel as if December is a hectic month for everyone. Running around frantically trying to purchase all the gifts that family members and loved ones desire, decorating for the holidays (if you do such a thing) and not to mention it is the end of the year so everyone is thinking back and saying; "Where the hell did 2017 go?!" I assure you I am thinking the same thing.

This morning when I woke up and sat down at my computer I got the itch to edit something random and this is what I landed on. Reed and I rented a space to shoot with Riae while she was in Los Angeles visiting from Italy. We wrapped up her shoot and realized that we still had another half hour in the space! Reed threw on an outfit and we shot a quick yet beautiful set in fifteen minutes! Reed always selfies before, during and after a shoot. So while she was doing what she does best, I picked up my camera and snapped this shot. Enjoy!
What a fantastic weekend. What started off with plans to leave on late Friday morning, turned into leaving a day early and stopping by these beautiful sand dunes on the way to Phoenix. An extra day allows so much more even though its just a mere twenty-four more hours.

I love being able to collaborate with new ladies and furthering not only my portfolio; but also my experience, knowledge and dynamic. Each person is different to work with and I feel that as I shoot with a more eclectic range of persons, my comfort level will continue to grow.

Reed and I have released quite a few sets from Yucca Valley; this is the next, but first to be shot during the trip. Check in time for our space was 2:00 P.M., but at 2:45 we still found ourselves sitting outside our space waiting for the man with an overrides pick-up truck to finish cleaning and leave. Lastnight Reed mentioned yesterday that she wanted to shoot some studio work tonight. I most definitely obliged! What a perfect mail day today for it. It has been sometime since Reed and I have hit the road and traveled more than an hour's time. This month will most certainly change that! When I found out that I was going to get to work with Alexa I was beyond ecstatic. It has been quite some time since she has stepped in front of a camera and I am so happy that I had the opportunity to work with her. It has been just about two years since the last time I printed a substantial project. I knew it was about time for another. The last aluminum, or metal print looked so amazing. The quality of the print is phenomenal, the colors are vivid and the matte finish to the metal reduces glare.

The end of June and the beginning of July was a 'slow time' for instant film. We were traveling, low on Fujifilm Instax wide and minis, but we shot some nonetheless!
