Long Body Cellar Spider studies

Development art for an upcoming commission, and of course it's Petina's favorite subject....not. It's interesting that's that there's a whole family of spiders referred to as Pholcidae or Cellar Spiders. There area also referred to as Daddy Long Legs and there's 1,800 different types. Which my muse is not thrilled to hear.

Courage and Wander anthro costume studies

Development art for an upcoming patron reward for Mephia Keibin. The 2 characters are Mephia's unicorn Courage and their friend's OC Wander. 

     For this is piece they will be in a Prohibition era, Film Noir type setting. So I wanted to confirm that the patron like my ideas for what I was going to have them wearing in the final piece.

    When I attended my first convention in 1989 I was introduced to the anime Project A-ko. Link. There was a great opening scene of A-Ko and C-ko running to school.

Both the MLP fandom and Hasbro through the IDW comic series have speculated and explored the idea of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence being high school sweethearts. So I decided to draw them dressed in anime-style school uniforms.

Broken Wards

With Everfree Northwest behind me and various other RL issues taken care of it's time to get back to  my Equestria Dreamscape.

     The massive pendulum clock standing in the unlit hallway chimed 10pm in my Equestria Dreamscape. From an ornate full length mirror across from the clock a soft Cerulean Blue light spilled out of it. From the mirror there emerged a figure. Lowering his head so as to not hit his top hat it on the frame of the mirror there stepped out a tall, pale, regal looking rat.
