I originally ended this story in the traditional Selkie fashion, as a romantic tragedy, but decided to take a twist... ala Jon Macy's ending to "Teleny and Camille".

I came across this while going through some old art a few days ago. This appeared in "Grunge", the same xerox comic that "Starfleet's Finest" was in. Acrylic on illustration board. As you might guess, I was a big fan of Isaac.

(edit: '23) I had done a color version of the "scene" in the middle of this as a self-promotional illustration shortly after, with intent to make it a business card. I didn't end up using it for one, but I still like it.

Android Wallpaper #1

Hey all, I started making some wallpapers like I said I would for having the 1st pledge goal met (on the first day, no less!).  I put a few together at android size (I use an android, betch), and here is the 1st of those. 

So far I will be theming them on what stories I have posted or am working on. The above image was the cover of my short run Feral Sketchbook "Petroglyphs", featuring Grant and the Wolf-God. Both appear in the Feral story I am hoping to start posting within a few weeks

I made some minor alterations to the rewards, shuffled some stuff around between the 20 and 100 dollar range. I moved the "draw you into a story" reward from the 100$ reward to the 20$, and the "access to private writing blogs" from 20$ to 100$.

A month ago, I mailed my try out for 2000ad, the comic book Judge Dredd appears in. Off to the UK it went... and I will patiently wait to hear back.
