This Holiday Extra is the result of a commission request - Magno and Davey were crimefighters in the Golden Age of comics, Magno starting out solo in Super-Mystery Comics and quickly acquiring the requisite kid partner that almost all adults had to have post-Robin, who was introduced just a few months earlier than the above issue. About half the time kid sidekicks to even super-powered heroes were normal kids themselves, Davey being one of the exceptions to that, and singular in the ... unique ... way Magno had to bestow powers on his lit...
