41 years ago today, Sally Ride became the first U.S. woman to go to space. She was bisexual but this was not publicly acknowledged until her obituary in 2012. At the time of her death, she had been in a relationship with a woman for 27 years.

Something like 10 years ago, Shockwave was the first sexy superhero i created. I posted his adventures on Y!Gallery before the hack that destroyed their first version and almost all their images.
