WRITING UPDATE

Hereafter post WRITING UPDATE from patreon

Greetings, my peculiarly twisted companions,

I am delighted to inform you that I shall be unveiling a delightful assortment of chapters, all at once, on the splendid occasion of Sunday, the 2nd of April. While my aspirations initially aimed for a grand total of five chapters, it appears that four may be the more likely outcome. Although I could endeavor to produce a fifth by extending the release to Sunday evening, I find the prospect of a morning reveal rather more enticing. Moreover, I shall engage you all in a delig...

My Beloved Dark Creatures,

The thrill of experimentation has seized me, sparking the creative depths of my mind as I present my latest endeavor to you, my cherished readers.

This week, I'm eager to test a new approach to releasing chapters in bulk. I posted a chapter yesterday, which, according to Patreon, has only been read by 6 individuals, making it an ideal time to attempt dropping multiple chapters simultaneously. I'll hold off on releasing new chapters until Sunday, April 2nd, when I'l...

CHAPTER 33 - The Breach

Hereafter post CHAPTER 33 - The Breach from patreon

Vanya’s head thudded against the dark, damp wooden interior of the Airlight Pod, her body tensing in anticipation. Suddenly, a deafening explosion rattled her bones, signaling the commencement of the airships’ bombardment with their arcane arsenal. The putrid scent of vomit invaded her senses, betraying the anxiety of the young squires preparing to spill blood and unleash their magical prowess for the first time.

Beneath them lay the Grotto of the Betrayed, a legendary dungeon shrouded in mystery and swallowed by the overgrown fore...

CHAPTER 32 – Joy in Chaos

The abrupt entrance of Yua into the Grand Hall sent chills coursing through the veins of all those gathered. I found myself delighting in the sumptuous scent of their dread as it tantalized my senses and stirred an exhilarating thrill within me. Yua’s labored breaths and untamed gaze were a spectacle to relish, a perfect appetizer for my insatiable craving. And then, the cry, a beautiful sound of terror that shattered the stillness of the chamber.

“Hundreds of airships are coming this way!” Yua blurted out.

Ah, the chaos, t...

Moments Earlier…

I followed Aurelia’s every move with an insatiable desire, like a shooting star to the horizon. My eyes fixated on the seductive sway of her hips as she moved, a hypnotic rhythm that enraptured me completely. I yearned to feel the touch of her flawless skin once again, to indulge in the sensations of passion that consumed me.

It was a strange feeling that consumed me, for I had never been one to worry about the opinions of others. I always did what I wanted; consequences be damned. Yet, I found myself c...

Modification UPDATE

Upon returning to rectify the error I had made, I discovered that it was less severe than I had initially believed. I made a passing reference in Chapter 28 about Blake consuming the guards she had kept stored away while noting that Niamh's corpse still remained. Furthermore, I took out a short sentence from Chapter 30 that alluded to her devouring the guards, as they were already consumed during the conflict.

Sorry for the confusion

We still have those corpses st...

CHAPTER 30 - The Priestess and the Hare

Yua slumped against the portcullis of the ruins, her body stiff with tension. She could feel the weight of impending doom settling on her shoulders, a heavy burden that threatened to crush her spirit. Every instinct told her they should’ve kept running, flee this place of death and despair. Nevertheless, they had sought refuge in a fortress that had already been sieged once before. She couldn’t help but wonder if they had come here to simply die.

The rising sun taunted them, casting a ghastly light on the twisted architecture and t...

INTERLUDE - Champions of Light

Galen was seething with frustration as he was surrounded by the royal court’s chosen few, tasked with serving as his personal guards in this desolate outpost in the remote countryside. And while he acknowledged their efforts, he was also irked by his kingdom’s constant vigilance over his safety. He was no fragile blossom to be coddled and kept under lock and key like some delicate artifact. Of course, the Kingdom of Slaethia had stationed their prized air fleet here, guarded by their best mages. The fleet was touted as one of the kingdom...

Patreon Exclusive – Road Map & Cruel Concepts

SPOILER WARNING!

Greetings, my cherished minions,

I must impart a fair warning to you, my adored malevolent beings: I am one who recoils from the shackles of outlines and structure, opting instead to let the story run wild as an untamed beast, guided solely by my whims. Nevertheless, as this realm of wonder burgeons in complexity, I have resolved to devise a road map, lest any crucial concepts I labor upon languish, forsaken. The knowledge I now bestow upon you constitutes a grievous defiance of conven...

CHAPTER 29 – PIÈCE DE RÉSISTANCE

I gazed upon the scene, spellbound by the explosive barrage of magic unleashed by the dungeon denizens upon the invading knights, who had stolen their prized possession. The absurdity of it all was not lost on me, as I would have snatched the dungeon core without a second thought, not caring about its purpose or consequences. But where had it disappeared to now?

A gnawing sense of dread churned in my gut.

“Ah, Lady Aurelia,” purred a feline figure as she materialized out of thin air. “It’s so delightful to see you’ve ma...

CHAPTER 28 - The Way Stone

My gaze rose to the tree line, and I was filled with a flicker of hope. An army stood there, led by a gnarled old warg that looked like a werewolf straight out of a horror movie. With his furrowed brow, long beard, and piercing eyes, this wizard-werewolf cast an ominous gaze across the battlefield. His staff was alive with crackling lightning energy, a spectrum of colors that would have made a rainbow jealous. And I…I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of intimidation. But as I looked around at the soldiers I had been fighting just moments ...

There was Darkness!

Heather descended into the bowels of the dungeon, stumbling behind a young undead goblin. The oppressive darkness enveloped her like a suffocating shroud. The memories of her past in this hellish dark pit were not fond, and she cursed herself for venturing back into this abysmal abyss once more. Her trembling hand instinctively reached for the back of her neck to verify that her head was still securely attached to her body. And, to her relief, it was still there...for now.

Gather round, for a fateful update doth approach!

Greetings, my loyal servants of the shadows,

I have come to a decision after much contemplation. A certain salacious remark will no longer grace the pages of Chapter 27 in the PDF version along with RR and SH's websites, although it shall still linger on the Patreon post. Despite my fondness for such depraved scenes, I do not wish for them to overshadow the relationship between Blake, Ava, and Aurelia in this twisted tale.

Translation: I'm going to tone down on the lewd scenes for a bit.

CHAPTER 27 - Aurelia's Fall

With a guttural groan, Jason felt like he was about to collapse onto the ground. Pulsating agony snaked through his veins, devoured his strength, and left him powerless. His arms and legs trembled and convulsed with pain. His muscles felt as though they were being torn apart from the inside out. Despite his valiant efforts to remain standing, he couldn’t muster the energy for much longer. And then, in that moment of utter exhaustion, the darkness creeping in was blown away with a violent explosion!

In an instant, the night was shatte...

CHAPTER 26 - Wailing Drums

Vanya Anlyth, Elven Knight, and Paladin of the Kingdom of Slaethia lay alone in her bed. The bitter cold of the bedsheet’s emptiness filled her heart with an aching at her husband’s absence. The knowledge that he was fulfilling his duties as the General of the army was of little comfort. The hours of his absence seemed to stretch on endlessly. The sounds of this night’s celebrations only now fading, leaving behind the drunken laughter of a few soldiers stumbling toward their bedrolls.

The victory was but a distant memory from a f...

CHAPTER 25 - Forbidden Secret

The proclaimed Dark Champion, a title that was nothing but a cruel insult. Jason remained haunted by the nightmare of that psycho sludge girl’s tentacle ramming its way down his throat and throughout his body. The memory caused him to clench his ass cheeks. It had violated him in the most grotesque manners before tossing him like damaged goods to suffer a slow and painful death. He shuddered thinking about it, but still, he stealthily followed her, remaining unseen to all. Life was a sick joke, and Jason was the punchline! Trapped in a nev...

Ugh... Names are stupid!

Greetings, my beloved acolytes of darkness.

It is I, your supremely deranged ruler!

In my moments of madness, I have stumbled upon a troubling issue that I had overlooked in my attempts to repair the fucked up magic system. The label Levelers is far too mundane for my tastes, and I find myself in dire need of a more fitting title.

The title Ascendant does have a certain ring to it, but I can't shake the feeling that I've come across it before. Hmm...

CHAPTER 24 - Beloved Monsters

I loomed over Olin’s new corpse like a harbinger of death as Ava meticulously bound the phylactery to it with surgical care. Though she said nothing, I couldn’t help but sense a hint of admiration from her, as if she were in awe of the situation. Perhaps even a private joke!

Ever since our fateful encounter with the Crone, the world had taken on a twisted and surreal quality, like a familiar and foreign nightmare. Reality had been skewed and distorted, leaving me feeling disoriented and lost. It was as if I had once again stepped i...

CHAPTER 23 - The Masochist

Vorigan, a vampiric monstrosity with amphibian-like features, was not blessed with the fangs of his kin. Instead, his frog-like face housed a maw lined with miniature, fish-like teeth. He lacked an intimidating presence of any kind. The cruel joke was not lost on him, as even his tormentors now saw him as nothing more than a mere plaything, fit only to be toyed with and abused. Vorigan felt like a lamb led to the slaughter, dreading the impending impalement that was closing in once the two elves were done. And he really didn’t want a woode...

And so, here I am, compressed and condensed down to the size of a tarantula, with most of my gooey tar-like body stored within Stellar Void. I was certain I had stumbled upon the tent where they held Aurelia captive, but there was a small hitch. Twelve bastards, six in full elegant plate armor, and another six cosplaying Conan and Red Sonja fucks straight out of a Comicon. They were guarding every portion of the tent’s exterior....

Anyhow. The kid led the five dipshits back into the dungeon to present the Crone’s offer to restore the dungeon folk’s lost magic and powers. CHAPTER 20 - Ethereal Tune

I reclined in the dreary and foreboding depths of my consciousness, mesmerized by Ava’s spellcasting. Her movements were as fluid and graceful as the sweeping arcs of a symphonic conductor’s baton. I was spellbound by her mastery, but I would never grant her the satisfaction of knowing how deeply I was entranced. Olin’s soul still clung around his body, even after his skull had been shattered beyond repair by a massive battle axe. I shifted into my human form, allowing my spider silk to wrap me up, fashioning my gorgeous phony casing together. Well, maybe phony to others, but it was my luxurious skin to me. Once that was done, I gazed into the darkness surrounding me with my orange, glowing eyes, influenced by Mana ...

“Flee, Aislinn, my love,” Bowen cried out, his voice trembling with fear and urgency. “The Romans are closing in, and we must make haste.”

The winter solstice had brought naught but woe to their tribe, for the Romans had come to conquer all. Aislinn and Bowen were two of the few who had escaped the wrath of the invaders, but the fear of capture still weighed heavily upon their hearts.

The forest winds carried the mournful cries of their fallen kin, and the spirits of the trees raged in an...
